We’ll pause in Columbus Park, photographing locals playing xiangqi (Chinese chess) and musicians filling the air with song. In Little Italy, we’ll explore murals and historic storefronts, finishing with a stop at the Italian American Museum (exterior or brief visit when open) to connect today’s images with yesterday’s immigrant journeys. Along the way, we’ll enjoy a quick sweet treat at Ferrara Bakery & Café (195 Grand St, NY 10013), famous for its cannoli.
