About
Who is Ibrahima Diallo?
Diallo Destinations is led by Ibrahima Diallo, a New York City based cultural guide, photographer, and hospitality professional with roots in Senegal.
With nearly two decades of experience guiding travelers through New York City and working at one of the world’s most iconic hotels, Ibrahima brings a rare blend of storytelling, service excellence, and cultural sensitivity to every experience. His background in photography adds an intentional visual layer to each journey, encouraging guests to see destinations differently more patiently, more creatively, and more personally.
Fluent in multiple languages and deeply connected to both local and global communities, Ibrahima’s approach to travel is grounded in respect, warmth, and curiosity. His work centers on helping people feel comfortable, inspired, and fully present whether walking through a neighborhood, sharing a meal, or capturing a fleeting moment.
Through Diallo Destinations, his vision is simple yet powerful: to create journeys that feel authentic, enriching, and unforgettable.
Our Story
Diallo Destinations was created from a simple belief: travel becomes meaningful when culture is felt, moments are captured with intention, and genuine human connections are formed.
Born in New York City and shaped by global experience, Diallo Destinations is a boutique travel and photography brand that designs immersive journeys rooted in place, people, and perspective. Each experience goes beyond sightseeing, inviting travelers to slow down, engage deeply, and see destinations through both the lens of the camera and the rhythm of everyday life.
At the heart of every journey is the Culture · Camera · Connection™ Experience:
-
Culture — Engaging with local life through food, music, neighborhoods, traditions, and stories that define a place beyond guidebooks.
-
Camera — Using photography as a creative tool to observe more closely, tell visual stories, and capture moments with intention, whether on a phone or a professional camera.
-
Connection — Creating meaningful relationships with people, places, and fellow travelers that turn trips into lasting memories.
-
Diallo Destinations curates small-group and private experiences across select global destinations, including New York City, Mexico City, and Senegal. Each journey is thoughtfully paced, blending guided exploration with free time, learning with joy, and structure with spontaneity.
This is travel designed for those who value depth over checklists, curiosity over crowds, and experiences that feel human, creative, and alive.

Why Tour With Us
Because we bring Senegal’s warmth to New York’s energy. Because our partners are people, not suppliers. Because your photos—and your memories—should still mean something when the tour is over.
With Diallo Destinations, the itinerary is only the beginning.
