WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Angela H
"The selfie tour of Central Park was very insightful and an enjoyable experience. I took my daughter, who has a new found passion for photography, to New York for her 13th birthday. My daughter said the photography tour was the highlight of her trip to New York, an experience she will never forget and will value forever. For that, I am forever grateful."

"I signed up for the Central Park Selfie Tour and had the BEST Saturday EVER in New York City. Ibrahima was one of the most knowledgeable, insightful and FUN tour guides I've ad the throughout my travels! The pictures turned out amazing and I walked away learning a TON - not only about Central Park but also about photography in general. His tips and tricks in supreme picture-taking will help me take better photographs for the rest of my life. What a delightful afternoon!"

"If you are looking for a great photography experience, this selfie tour of Central Park is it! Ibrahima blends the history of Central Park with a personal photography lesson that allows you to capture some very beautiful and creative photos that you wouldn't have taken by yourself. It's well worth the time and money, and you come away with some great pictures that make you seem like a professional photographer."

"I am a photo-hobbyist always looking to improve my skills. My girlfriend and I signed up for the Central Park Selfie Tour. Our highly professional photographer, Ibrahima, was a superb tour guide to learn from. This was our second visit to NYC from Seattle, and we didn’t need to see all the usual tourist attractions we saw from our first trip. I’m very happy we chose this activity. It was a different and more intimate way of seeing Central Park. Ibrahima was friendly and knowledgeable. He taught not only the technical side of photography; he taught the artistic-side as well. Ibrahima knew how to navigate through different brands of cameras. He showed us his photo gallery, describing how he captured certain results. Looking for a new way to see Central Park? Go with Ibrahima and see it through a camera lens that later lets you revisit your trip through photos."

"I booked the tour without knowing what to expect. Some beautiful locations.. hidden places.. Someone who shows me parts of the Central Park. Then Ibrahima came and it became the best afternoon of my trip this year to NYC! Now it was more than I ever expected.. Information about Places.. Buildings.. Nature.. but the best thing for me was the experience in "making a photo" he gave me. We talked about being creative in composing pictures. He fills what misses me and it was an absolutely wonderful afternoon. I enjoyed every minute!"

"The Central Park Tour was great because there was a lot of opportunity to discuss photography composition and lighting. Ibrahima also shares a lot of informative history about the Park itself."

"This tour was great!! Ibrahima knows his stuff and loves to impart his knowledge to the participants of the tour. He tailors the tour to your level of expertise so you'll have a great time no matter what your level of experience is. I learned a lot from him and can't wait to practice the stuff he taught us. Also, Central Park is a wonderful place to practice all types of photography. Do yourself a favor and take this tour!!"

"My friend and I went on the Central Park Selfie Tour with Ibrahima and before 15 minutes had gone by, he made us feel so comfortable and taught me something new about my phone camera, about Central Park and about photography in general! The rest of the tour just got better and better! He is knowledgeable and witty and makes you feel more comfortable with your camera and surroundings and helps you to expand your vision to create a story with your photos and make it more interesting for you and the viewer. I saw parts of Central Park I had not been to in years and learned a lot about the park I love, as well as the city. Ibrahima never makes you feel like a novice and his encouragement leaves you feeling more confident and knowledgeable. Cannot wait to take another tour with him!"

"Ibrahima was awesome. Very accommodating. He is worth the wait. He taught us the basics of photography and better yet how to use features in our cameras that we never would have learned about on our own. He is flexible and caters to our needs. He gave us some history about certain artifacts of Central Park. Overall, great tour."

"I have been on the Selfie Tour with Ibrahima and it was informative and fun. With the Central Park Tour, I wasn't as familiar with the settings on my DSLR though I'd had it for a while. Ibrahima explicitly taught me how to use settings such as metering and white balance without making me feel like a total amateur which was definitely positive. As a native Brooklynite, there were facts about Central Park that I didn't know about. Not only that, I had a lot of fun here and it was evident when passersbys stopped, watched, and took photos of us. The positive experience I had led me to look for more tours that I would be interested in."
Michael R
"Not only did Ibrahima show us the technical side, he also makes you feel very comfortable while learning. He's both personable and knowledgeable in many things not limited to photography! His historic background seems to come in handy. My wife ended up taking a picture which seemed to shock him, which was a nice bolster to her confidence in her craft. Overall, I wouldn't pass this up and would definitely consider doing it more than once!"

"I took the Selfie Tour of Central Park with Ibrahima Diallo. He gave me and the other participant on this particular trip not only smart and creative tips on photographing the park's many different sights, but also detailed instruction on my specific camera. I have a point and shoot camera that also features a multitude of confusing higher level settings that, until then, had mostly baffled my efforts to use them correctly. Ibrahima clearly loves photography and is very good at it. Wear comfy shoes and bring whatever camera you use, however basic. He'll show you how to get the most out of it."
Pam S
"Ibrahima was a wonderful, patient teacher giving excellent suggestions and advice about photography. If you have a good camera, Ibrahima will explain settings and adjustments. I am only using an iPhone, but still learned so many things to improve my photography. Ibrahima shared how to plan photos, take photos and edit pictures to make outstanding compositions. He showed his favorite apps, as well. Additionally, we learned things about Central Park, like how not to get lost by using the numbers on lamp posts that indicate the street number. This was an extremely great learning experience."

"This was the most amazing tour I went on. Ibrahima was VERY informative and patient. I learned so much about using my camera manually. I also learned about the park. Since the Selfie Tour , I have been having so much fun looking differently to find a great image and figuring out what settings to use to get the right picture. I highly recommend the tour. I can't wait until I go again."

"Took my 15 year old daughter on a Central Park Selfie tour with Ibrahima and he took so much time to explain the features of her camera. He gave her a professional photo class and she got so many tips from him. She was a bit overwhelmed on the features before the class and was only going to shoot in auto mode. After he took the time to tell her how her Canon worked, she is utilizing many of the features. Without this tour, she would never have attempted to shoot on manual."
